HubSolv has some great features to ensure that you are able to comply with GDPR
Contact consent
We have added additional fields to the Client Details section to reflect the level of consent you have captured for contacting your clients.
The new fields in the client record.
As you will see, we've broken down communication on a service based level and marketing based level. If you want to have any communication with your clients, you'll need to get their consent. When the rules come into effect it's going to be mandatory to have the relevant consent in order to communicate with your clients via email and SMS from HubSolv.
These new fields can be populated via the API when you add your leads to HubSolv (details at the bottom of the article).
There are two actions you need to carry out:
- For new leads, you should update your API integrations now in order to reflect the consent captured for all incoming leads going forward.
- For existing leads, we have also rolled out a new action to our Bulk Actions allowing you to update your existing level of consent you may have captured for your clients but haven't been storing in HubSolv to date.
It's important that you carry out these two actions in order to be able to continue contacting your clients.

Bulk Action for updating contact permissions
We also have a new condition available so your actions and workflows can be triggered depending on a level of consent.
Data Storage
In regards to the data stored on HubSolv we've rolled out a new action that can be triggered allowing you to delete clients details on a status change or on any of the other triggers that occur within HubSolv.

New automated action that can be triggered to delete the client record.
You could for example setup a trigger to delete the client on a status changed to something like 'Closed', 'Not interested' or 'GDPR Request - Delete' etc. Once you switch the client to that status, it will be deleted from your view.
This could also be set up to be done after a set period of time using workflows, which could remove the record if it's still at the specified status after a certain time period e.g. 3 months later. Read our guide on workflows for more about this or contact support to have one made for you.
Diallers
It's also very important Diallers update their software to check HubSolv for consent otherwise you may be telephoning clients that have not consented to being contacted. See the API fields below for fields you can check when retrieving the client record.
